Grenze ist nur ein Schritt entfernt is the title of my latest urban intervention, created for the occasion of Location Projekt. The work was displayed for one week in Stadthaus Station in Dortmund this July. Location Projekt consists of six artists who were commissioned to create site-specific works in the public spaces of Dortmund.

My chosen location – the station – serves as a starting point, seen as an intersection of departures and arrivals. From there, the work seeks to provoke thoughts and reflections on the meaning of borders.

Grenze ist nur ein Schritt entfernt ist der Titel meiner jüngsten urbanen Intervention, die anlässlich von Location Projekt entstanden ist. Die Arbeit wurde im Juli für eine Woche im Stadthaus Station in Dortmund gezeigt. Location Projekt besteht aus sechs Künstler:innen, die beauftragt wurden, ortsspezifische Arbeiten im öffentlichen Raum Dortmunds zu realisieren.

Mein gewählter Ort – der Bahnhof – dient als Ausgangspunkt und wird als Schnittstelle von Ankunft und Abreise verstanden. Von dort aus lädt die Arbeit dazu ein, über die Bedeutung von Grenzen nachzudenken und sie zu hinterfragen.
