Debora Ando studierte Bildende Kunst mit Spezialisierung auf Druckgrafik an der Universidade de São Paulo, Brasilien und erhielt einen Masterabschluss in Visual Arts Practices am Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Irland. Zwischen 2013 und 2019 war sie als Dozentin am National College of Art and Design tätig. Seit 2020 ist sie Dozentin an der Fachhochschule Dortmund.

She lived in Dublin from 2006–19, and received a Master’s degree in Visual Arts Practices with the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology. Between 2013–19 she lectured in the National College of Art and Design. Since 2019 Debora Ando lives and works in Germany. Since 2020 she lecturers at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
